Skiatook Community Center and Swimming Pool
The existing Skiatook Community Center shares a 1942 vintage building with the Police Department and Municipal Court. The building was designed as a Municipal Building by Frank C. Walter, a Tulsa architect, and resembles the old stone armories that were constructed during that era. One-half of the Vision 2025 funding that is earmarked for Skiatook will complete many renovations and upgrades, including roofing, window replacement, gymnasium flooring, and other interior finishes. The balance of the Skiatook funding will be used to supplement the community's effort to fund a new community swimming pool in this fast growing community.
