With low mortgage rates, affordable home prices and an exceptional collection of homes and builders to choose from, the time has never been better to make your dream home a reality.  The 2013 Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes, June 15-23, is the perfect opportunity to discover all that Tulsa-area homes have to offer.  View the latest trends and speak directly to the area’s top builders, all during this unique, free event that showcases the best in new home building.

During the Parade of Homes, more than 150 new homes ranging in price from $120,000 to more than $1,000,000 will be open daily from 1 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. Admission is FREE.  The annual event is presented by the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa and sponsored by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.  Homes are spread throughout 12 different cities in the Tulsa region, from Glenpool to Verdigris. 

More than 58 local building companies are participating in the event, which provides buyers the largest and broadest showcase of new homes and building trends.  Buyers can explore hundreds of floor plans to view the latest innovations in everything from technology to energy efficiency and home decorating ideas.  In addition, all featured builders are members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa, meaning they are experienced, insured, ethical professionals.

There is something for everyone at the 2013 Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes; whether you are just beginning your home search, getting ready to select a builder, or researching the latest home products, building materials or design ideas. 

“The Parade of Homes is the perfect place to start or complete the process of finding your next home,” said Allen Jenkins, local builder and chairman of the 2013 Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes.  “It is the only event that allows shoppers to explore and visualize all of the options in new home construction and speak directly with Tulsa’s best building companies.  Builder representatives are on hand to answer questions at each entered home during event hours.  It is a great way to find the builder, neighborhood and home that best suit your lifestyle.”

In addition to homes, the event will also highlight five subdivisions, which showcase the trends in community amenities. The Grand Plan for this year’s event is Yorktown in Jenks, which will host an extended hour Twilight Tour from 6 - 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.  An additional extended hour tour will be held in Stone Canyon in Owasso on Tuesday, June 18 from 6 - 9 p.m. Other featured subdivisions in the 2013 Parade of Homes are Forest Ridge and Berwick on Cedar Ridge in Broken Arrow and Seven Lakes in Bixby.
